Christian Lindner
Former Federal Minister of Finance, Germany

Christian Lindner was the German Federal Minister of Finance. The 46-year-old is one of the most prominent representatives of free-market policies, strong capital markets and stability-orientated public finances. He was a member of parliament for almost 25 years and party chairman of the FDP for eleven years. Lindner studied political science and constitutional law in Bonn, worked as an entrepreneur before entering politics and is a major in the reserves. He is married and has one child. In Germany, Lindner initiated the consolidation of the federal budget following the coronavirus pandemic. In the European Union, Lindner played a key role in shaping the current fiscal rules and the roadmap to the Capital Markets Union. As Chairman of the G7 Finance Ministers, he played a key role in the crisis response following the Russian attack on Ukraine. Lindner is a Knight of the French Legion of Honour and a recipient of the Grand Decoration of Honour in Gold for Services to the Republic of Austria as well as other international awards.

Jean Keller
CEO, Quaero Capital, Geneva and Vice-President AMAS

Jean Keller joined Quaero Capital SA in 2011 as CEO. Prior to joining Quaero Capital SA, he was CEO of 3A (Alternative Asset Advisors), the alternative investment division of banking group SYZ in Geneva. From when he joined 3A in 2005, the group grew significantly from around USD 1bn to over USD 4bn at its peak. Before joining the SYZ group, Jean Keller spent 11 years assuming various responsibilities within the Lombard Odier Group in Geneva, New York and London.

Rahul Sahgal
CEO, Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, Zurich

Dr. Rahul Sahgal is the CEO of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, which oversees efforts to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations between Switzerland and the United States, and works to ensure that Switzerland continues to be a preferred destination for US and international investment. Previously from 2021 to April 2024, Dr. Sahgal served as Deputy Head of the Tax Division at the SIF in Bern. From August 2017 to July 2021, Dr. Sahgal was stationed in Washington D.C., serving as Counselor for Financial and Fiscal Affairs within the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, he served as Deputy Head of Unit in the Human Security Division at the FDFA, and his diplomatic career began in 2013 as Attaché Diplomatique at the Swiss Mission to the EU in Brussels.

Stefan Walter
Chief Executive Officer, FINMA, Bern

Stefan Walter has been FINMA’s CEO since 1 April 2024. In this role he is responsible for the operational management of FINMA. From 2014 to 2024, Stefan Walter was Director General at the European Central Bank (ECB). There, he was responsible for the supervision of systemic banks in the eurozone and led this division for six years. From 2020, he was responsible for horizontal risk supervision at the ECB. This encompassed all categories of risk, in particular credit and liquidity risks, as well as developing and conducting stress tests. Previously, Stefan Walter was Global Bank Regulatory and Supervisory Policy Network Leader at Ernst & Young for two years. From 2006 until 2011, he was Secretary General of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Prior to this, Stefan Walter held various roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Patrick Karpiczenko
Speaker for generative AI, Zurich

Born in Berne and educated at the ZHdK Film School in Zurich. Works as a writer, director, and comedian for film, television, and theater. Columnist for print media (Tagesanzeiger, NZZ, Beobachter). Creator and showrunner of various television formats, including the late-night show «Deville» on SRF. Performes stand-up comedy on stage. Lecturer and speaker on generative artificial intelligence. Founder of the production company Apéro Film with Natascha Beller, and co-produced the feature film «Die Fruchtbaren Jahre sind vorbei».

It aims to strengthen Switzerland’s position as a leading center for asset management with high standards of quality, performance, and sustainability. To this end, it supports its members in developing the Swiss asset management industry and adding value for investors over the long term. The Asset Management Association Switzerland is an active member of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), the Swiss Finance Council (SFC) and The International Investment Funds Association (IIFA). Founded in Basel in 1992, the Asset Management Association Switzerland currently has 180 members.
